My littlest is not that little anymore. At three, she has oodles of personality, and is never afraid to let everyone know what is on her mind. Which made it really surprising when she started having accidents on her way to the bathroom.
We ignored it the first few times, not making a big deal out of her new bathroom habits, but after a few days we had enough. It was time ot find out what's up with her inability to make it to the bathroom. Even more perplexing was her request to wear pullups, soemthing she wore briefly between diapers and underwear.
Well, the answer is as old as time.
Who do you know that wears pullups, I asked one day, frusterated with her peeing all voer herself again.
Coby and Eitan wear pullups, she said.
Oh the things girls will do to be like the boys.

Little girls, or children anyway, are pretty manipulatable. You can't have pullups, we told her, but everyday that yuo stay dry you can have a sticker on a chart.
We've been dry for five days and counting.

Bribery is fun! Have you even hinted at a prize for a certain amount of stars, or does she automatically assume she's gonna get something after a while?

OC- we don't consider charts and prizes bribery. We call it positive reinforcement or behavior modification. Bribery is going to the store, begging your child to not have a tantrum there, and offering a candy bar at the beginning of the trip to offset any misbhavior.
we did the sticker chart thingy... and it worked wonders. He was suposed to get a big prize upon completion of the chart... but he forgot about it, and we didnt remind him. Next time around I dont think we will even offer the prize.
Its not always a good idea to ignore the prize at the end, because one day he will ask you where his prize is and you will be stuck. Kids are really happy with erasers, or any crap you can get for 25 tickets at almost any arcade
