A classic little league double play which ended with my kid tagging the game tying run out at the plate in the bottom of the last inning.
We beat the Pirates 2-1, and move on to play the Reds in the next round of the playoffs. Tuesday night at 7:15. Tyler Field.

That is one hell of a double play. We will (hopefully)watch the Tigers try and advance in the playoffs on Tuesday
It was actually even more exciting than that. Man on first. Grounder to pitcher, throws to first. one out, but first baseman gets knocked down on the play. Runner who ran to second sees first baseman on the ground and runs to third. The throw beats the runner, and the runner is caught in a rundown. Thrid baseman chases him to second, almost all the way, and then throws it to second baseman who drops ball. Runner heads for third. The throw is wild and goes on the grass. The runner rounds third and headed for home. The third baseman picks up the ball, throws home and my boy catches it, chases the runner back toward third and tagged him out.
It was quite exciting.
