Dumb Kids
I want to start this by saying this blog is not for everyone. I have a fourteen year old sister, and I do not think she should be reading this blog. But she does, and other than shutting it down, starting it over, trying to hide it from her and then restarting the hiding process when she finds it again, I don't know how to keep her off.
That being said, I did tell a funny story about her and a friendship bracelet about a month ago. She had left for Israel the day before I wrote it, and did not have access to a computer while in camp there. However, camp is over, and she is once again reading this blog. I know this, because she posted a comment on the bracelet site saying I was evil. Nothing too new there.
The entertaining part, at least to me, was the next comment I got, a few days later from "Highroller."
Apparently, Mr. Green was upset that I changed his name to protect his identity. So for all of you out there, Mr. Green is actually Mr. Brown, which was one of the colors on the friendship bracelet. Mr. Brown, from what I understand, attends a right wing black hat yeshiva, and would certainly face expulsion from his school if they ever read this. So I am not sure why he does not hide in the anonymous cover I gave him, but insists on being known to all.
I have seen him on the streets twice. Once, detailed in the original story, with my sister in the car. The second time, after she left, as I was curious if he was still wearing it since she was out of town. And despite this making such a huge impact in my life, I don't remember if he was still wearing the friendship bracelet or not.

The way about which this thing is spoken about at the Zacks' seems like it is public knowledge. Just be careful, all, I've seen they handbook at Batch's school. And there are strict rules about sharing friendship bracelets with boys.

Why is everyone attacking poor highroller?did he do anything wrong?so far,he didnt get into any trouble,and neither did shev.i suggest everybody just chill out.let the two lovebirds have their fun and everybody just slooooowly back away.i mean,its all right to tease,but this seems like an all-out war.so lets all sign a peace treaty and its all good times for everyone.

Yah, I guess we should lighten up on poor Highroller. He hasn't even met many of us and we are already on his back!!! But maybe that is because he responds to us and Shev just says "Shut up"!!

Hate may be a strong word nat, but when HR was a camper of mine in YBY day camp he was a pain in the butt
Shu,if what I hear is correct,you weren't the greatest counseler in the world either.Threatening to hang little kids from the Wendys flagpole during the morning pledge isn't the best way to win the hearts of the kids.:)
