Feeling Sick
I have this sick feeling in my stomach that won't go away. It stems from the Andre incident. I waited all day for an email from him. I called him and talked to his wife, and waited for him to return my call all evening.
He did not return my calls, and so this morning I sent him an email kicking him off the team.
I know I made the correct decision here. But I still feel sick about it.

You did do the right thing. You feel sick because you aren't a self-centered jerk. People like Andre never feel sick about things like this because they are self-centered jerks.
He needed to have the courtesy to call you. If you would have ignored the incident and then his refusal to own up to it you would have created a monster. Instead, you just created an enemy. It's lonely at the top.
So far the feedback from the rest of the team has been positive. I like I may have said in a previous post, I have no social connection to him or his family, so there will be no social repurcussions at all...not like the last time I crated a real enemy. It turned out OK but at the time was a social disaster.
Just hope he doesn't move to Israel next year.
Its a big country. Maybe we can start a league there, be on different teams, and I could crush him with a check in the corner.
You did the right thing and shouldn't feel bad about it. He doesn't deserve to be on the team. Geese, he didn't even have the courtesy to return your e-mail and phone call. I hope you do meet him on an opposing team and give him a real Rob Blake like hip check into the boards. Good luck in the playoffs.
