Brooklyn is Beautiful - Revisited

Regular readers of this blog probably saw this post about a week ago. Opensource, an Public Radio show out of Boston, also saw this post, and included in their June 16th show, called "Blogsday."

I am working on posting the audio from their broadcast, but I am having trouble cutting out the 45 minutes that are not my post. In the meantime, if you want to hear it, you go to http://www.radioopensource.org/2005/06/15/blogsday/.

Since my original post was posted at about 4:30 PM, the post is read toward the end of the show, or of course, you can listen to entire show. It is entertaining, reading from a wide variety of blogs from the web. My post is about 44 minutes into the program.

A man from Detroit mocking Brooklyn, someone must have forgotten to look at there own neighborhood before mocking others.A great man once said "I live at home home in a trailer mom I'm coming back to you"
-Brooklyn "cause we are better than you"

So you think Brooklyn is Beautiful too?

And I thought the girl in the story was the only one. What's wrong with you people?

How cool is that? How did they find you, and how did YOU find out that they read from your blog?

Very cool, although they should have asked you to read it.

But really, brooklyn is beautiful. Not just in hell.

M4 - I don't know how they found me. From listening to the program and reading a bit about them on their site, this is the first time they did this and it is something they plan on doing once a year.

I found out becuase they left a comment about it on the post, and then I had to go through post by post to figure out which post they were talking about.

Krum - I don't know how practical it would have been for them to have each person read their piece.

As a writer, who wishes he was writing work that others performed instead of technical writing, I was thrilled to have someone else read it.

But I do have a great public radio voice.

As for Beauty in Brooklyn, well, you have your opinion, I have mine. You could take me to the beautiful spot in brooklyn, and I could walk you through every other street, and we would both still disagree.
