Amazing

There is this website, where they play 20 questions with you. The computer asks questions, and gives you choices to answer, trying to guess your object within 20 questions.

Unlike traditional 20 questions games, the computer does allow you to give answers other than yes or no

Before it started, I wrote down Macintosh Computer on a scratch pad on my desk.

20Q.net

1. It is classified as Other.
2. Does it have a hard outer shell? Partly.
3. Is it connected to a wire? Yes.
4. Is it larger than a microwave oven (or bread box)? Sometimes.
5. Does it play music? Yes.
6. Is it involved in movies? Sometimes.
7. Is it found on a desk? Yes.
8. Does it store information? Yes.
9. Is it smaller than a loaf of bread? No.
10. Do you make something with it? Yes.
11. Is it usually colorful? Sometimes.
12. Can it think? No.
13. Is it used in travel? Sometimes.
14. Is it heavy? Sometimes.
15. Is it taught in school? Sometimes.
16. Is it bright? Sometimes.
17. I guessed that it was a personal computer? Close.
18. Can you speak into it? Yes.
19. Is it small? No.
20. I am guessing that it is a Macintosh computer?

You can try it at http://www.20q.net/. Let me know how you did.

I chose "glue pot". It guessed plastic bottle at number 18; glue pot at number 20. Totally amazing. But now I'm bound to keep going back there, wasting time, rather than getting on with something sensible!!
