I can't explain it but
I was listening to a kids Chanukah tape, which etlls the story of Chanukah. I got a huge rush when one of the characters talked about living in Modiin, and looking across the mountains toward Yerushalayim. I think we are very blessed to live in a time when we can live in the same places, walk on the same streets, and see the same things our ancestors saw thousands of years ago.

We are still here, planning on moving this summer.
Thanks for that link. Very interesting.
Look towards those mountains, what do you see?
Mountains!
Those are the Judean Hills filled with greek and Syrian troops. One day we're going to enter Jerusalem and take it back.

but true.
Anon, if you can name 5-10 terrorist attacks that have happened in the Modiin area since the start of the Intifada, I'll say that you're right.

oc, i will take your conditional admission of victory with pride and all due humility.
Why don't you take it and find the facts before you wish and creat a self-fulfilling prophecy, hoping that people get blown up on a bus, or saying that they'll definitely be blown up because of where they live. Prove that you have any validity in what you say. Stop beating around the bush and playing your games. Bottom line: You are actually predicting or wishing that these people die for moving to Israel, just to prove your point; just to prove that your philosophy about Zionism and living in Israel is correct. May G-d forgive your actions.
