Then you've never been a Lions fan. Yes, there are some long suffering football fans out there, but consider this when you think about how miserable your football team. ESPN.com lists the 25 most miserable moments in football over the past 25 years.
The Lions are listed three times.
Once, for taking the wind in overtime against Chicago, once for every quarterback they have had since 1979, and once for Barry Sanders quitting on the team.
And on ESPN's NFL misery index, Lions fans ranked fourth in Misery.

thats what u get 4 following such a stupid game. honestly, ppl pay actual MONEY to go watch big fat guys beat each other up- AND THEY ENJOY IT! i'll never understand...
better to follow baseball, the tigers had a few good years back when we were all growing up in the 80's, but once they traded their hot prospect John Smoltz, it all went downhill from there.

The Smoltz trade was worth it. I liked that 87 team even more than the 84 team. The 84 team blew people away. The 87 team was always making comebacks late in games, and Doyle Alexander did go 9-0 for the tigers with an ERA under 2.00, if I remember correctly. Even thuogh he played less than half a season for the Tigers, he got serious Cy Young Award attention.
