That Sick Feeling
I got the sick feeling in my stomach when I read about the Israeli soldier going postal on a Palestinian bus. I always like to think that we, as a people, are better than that. It is easy to say this was different, it was an isolate incident and not part of an organization dedicated to terror. But in the end, it is too similar an act to the violence Israelis are subjected to.
And it just leaves a sick feeling.

It sounds like he snapped....I kinda feel bad for him.
Jews are better. and Reuters calling this guy's losing his mind "Israeli Terror" won't change that.
By the way, CNN and Fox have so far given this incident scant attention.
I noticed there wasnt anythign on CNNs website a few hours ago.
I have seen headlines calling in Israeeli Soldier, Israeli militantr and Jewish militant.
Arabs are better (targets)
I am sad to say that I am not surprised. Disappointed.

they just never had the opportunity to discriminate in this way before.
It is an isolated incident, but if you saw the news here, you would have seen the difference b/t how Israelis react to this kind of stuff, and how Arabs react. When a terror attack occurrs against Israel, people let the authorities and emergency crews handle things. They step away, let the professionals do their jobs, and they worry and cry for those lost. They don't go psycho and cause chaos.
Watching the news last night, hundreds and even thousands of Arabs were gathered around the bus, not letting anyone through to get to the injured and dead. They were throwing glass and bottles at the cops and anything else they could think of. They were climbing on the bus. I mean, if anyone was injured in there, they must have died by the time anyone could get to them. It looked like some sick mob scene. After the attack, the mob came and lynched the shooter. This is not the first time the Arabs have done that. The police couldn't get to him in time b/c there were no police in the area. When has a Jew ever done this to a Pal or Arab terrorist? (Well, one that was still alive after the attack.)
We still don't know why this kid did this. The reports have been sketchy from the start. First, they thought it was a Druzi soldier with a personal vendetta. Now, they know it was a Chayal with a history of psychological issues and was known by Shabak as being trouble. Now, there are many questions to be answered. If this guy was known to have problems, why did he have or be allowed to have a Nesheck? Why did he do this? Was it just a psychological snap, or was there a deeper motive? (There have been some speculations of doing this to prevent or postpone the disengagement) How will the Arabs react to this? It doesn't take much to cause riots, as many of those that live in the North know?
How many of these questions will be answered, we don't know. We just hope it won't erupt as just the simple excuse the Pals were looking for to go out all force. That is why 1 Jewish terrorist is ten times worse than 10 Arab terrorists.
